A Shout Out from Smart Shoot Photography

One year ago, almost to the day my cell phone rang and a number from California showed up on my caller id. Like most people, I was skeptical about answering a number I didn’t recognize but decided to give the telemarketer on the other end a chance. However, the caffeinated voice that greeted me was no telemarketer! It was a young man named Jeff who worked for a company called SmartShoot. Jeff had found my name and contact information through a Google search. He took a leap of faith and called me up, hoping that since I had recently been certified by Google as a Trusted Photographer, that I would be available and that I had the skills to help him meet a deadline for a client that needed panoramic and HDR photography completed within 48 hours.

That’s how I became a photographer for SmartShoot.

SmartShoot is an online marketplace that brings the power of professional photos and videos to everyone. They help businesses and individuals find and collaborate with professional freelance photographers and videographers. Since my phone call with Jeff, I have completed almost 100 photography jobs for Apartment Guide, one of SmartShoot’s largest clients. The team at SmartShoot works closely with their clients and creative network to make sure that everyone is pleased with the outcome. It is an honor to work with such a wonderful, encouraging and supportive group, and I am very excited to be a featured photographer on their Pinterest “Photographers We Love” board.
