Could you explain what your role is here at Proclaim Interactive?

As an account manager, I serve as the single point of contact for our clients. I work with them to help them improve their businesses through their online marketing presence.  I love people, and I’m excited to be able to make a positive impact in their lives.

You’re originally from Cincinnati, and you’ve lived all over the country. What brought you to North Carolina?

To be closer to our family, my husband and I settled into our new home in Carolina Beach.

What do you enjoy in your spare time?

I’m a generalist—I enjoy a lot of different activities! Essentially, I love any outdoor activity, whether it’s golfing or kayaking or spending time at the beach. My husband and I enjoy new experiences. Sometimes we’ll just get in the car and enjoy a spontaneous road trip! I believe that spontaneity is the spice of life.

What is the greatest adventure you’ve ever experienced?

From October 2016 to September 2017, my husband and I took a 40-foot boat from Wrightsville Beach down to the Florida Keys. After we arrived, we lived in Islamorada, which is the most beautiful place on earth. It was an epic adventure. It was an incredible experience and taught me several life lessons.

Care to share any of those life lessons with us?

Living in a small space is definitely an adjustment. But it’s also taught me a very valuable life lesson. It’s not about having “things.” It’s more important to enjoy the experiences life has to offer. Small space, BIG life! I hope to never forget this, no matter where I live.
